UI of work object appears different when opened from email link

Summary
When a user opens the work object through a link from an email, the UI looks different.
The skin does not appear the same as opening a work object directly from the portal.

Steps to Reproduce
- Send email with a work link.
- Click on the link from the email to open the case in Pega.
Root Cause
The testing of this feature was not representative of real world business users logging directly into the business portal.
Developer was testing this from designer studio. So the the application skin was not being picked up.
Resolution
Here's an explanation for the behavior:
When testing the same email link gets generated while logging directly into the business portal, the correct application skin was picked up and applied.
