Steps to Reproduce

  1. Obtain the favicon file to use.
  2. Create a binary file rule for the favicon.
  3. Override the standard pyPortalIcon HTML Fragment rule to point to the binary file rule. Verify the favicon in the User and Manager Composite portals.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.


Resolution



Update to Pega Platform 8.1.6.
