Unable to create a new Persona in App Studio



On adding a Persona to a case type in App Studio, the process completes successfully. However, the Persona is not added to the case type and no error message displays.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open App Studio.
  2. Navigate to Case Types.
  3. Select a Case Type from the various Stages.
  4. Click Create New Persona to add a new Persona.
  5. Click Submit.

Root Cause

The issue occurred because a Production ruleset was listed in the user's Access Group. This ruleset was used to create the Persona instead of the Application ruleset.


Perform the following local-change:
  1. Remove the Production ruleset from the Access Group.
  2. Ensure that an open ruleset is present in the application.
