Unable to Delete a RuleSet Version
When trying to refactor rulesets, the system is not allowing the deletion of a RuleSet version. The behavior experienced is a system hang when creating the restoration file and the processing does not proceed any further.
Steps to Reproduce
- Install HFix-20608, HFix-10142, and their dependencies.
- Click Pega Button.
- Select System > Tools > Refactor RuleSets > Delete a RuleSet.
- Select a ruleset and version.
- Click Delete.
The behavior is due to a dependent hot fix that was installed. The dependent hot fix is HFix-7845 and it reduces the cost of spawning child requestors.
Here is a description of the HFix-7845:
The hotfix delivers settings that optimize Integration Connectors. The settings allow the use of "Run In Parallel" mode. The default values provided by the hotfix reduce Elapsed Time to 10% and CPU Time to 30%.
Perform the following local-change: Set the "initialization/childrequestors/uselightweightauth" prconfig setting to false.
