Unable to export import codeset from one region to another

SA-25421

Summary

When importing a rule-admin-product (RAP) file generated in another environment, the jar import completes but the codeset jars which should be in the RAP are not imported.

In environment where RAP was exported from previewed the RAP content on the product rule and it shows the codeset jars are part of the RAP.

Error Messages

Not applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

 Import a jar.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
In the product rule that is exporting this RAP file the 5.4 compatibility checkbox is enabled.  With 5.4 compatibility enabled the generated RAP will not include any schema changes or any codesets
as neither of these things were present in a 5.4 RAP.

This is a bug in the product rule preview button where it is not taking into account the 5.4 checkbox and it is showing that the codeset jars will be included.

Resolution

Remove the check of the 5.4 compatibility in the product rule.

Now the exported RAP file will include the codeset jars and can be imported into different environment.

Issue with the preview product rule button not taking into account the 5.4 compatibility check, will be addressed in a future release.
