Summary



Unable to export report data to Excel when using the Export to Excel function.


Error Messages



There has been an issue; please consult your system administrator

Error in Tracer:

Step Status: FAIL
Step Status Info: Section 'pzRDExportWrapper' execution error on page '' of class 'Rule-Obj-Report-Definition'. : org.apache.poi.openxml4j.opc.StreamHelper (initialization failure)


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to the Reports landing page.
  2. Open a report.
  3. Click the Actions button.
  4. Select the 'Export to Excel' option. Error message displays.


Root Cause



Regression occurred when report definitions were exported to Excel that contained non-auto controls for Numeric or Date columns.


Resolution



This feature is implemented in Pega Platform 8.2.4.
