Unable to install Pega tile on Pivotal.


Error Messages



Cannot generate manifest for product Pega Platform: Error in (( ..cf.cloud_controller.apps_domain.value )): unknown product "cf" (Product "Pega Platform" / Job: nil)


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Complete the setup of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) OPS Manager 2.1 without errors. 
  2. Complete the setup of AWS BOSH Director and apply the changes without errors.
  3. Complete the PEGA 8.2.1 rule base setup on Oracle Relational Database Service (RDS) without errors. 
  4. Downloaded the latest PCF product file form https://community1.pega.com/exchange/components/pega-pivotal-cloud-foundry.
  5. Import the pega-service-adapter-release-8.10.2 to the PCF Manager.
  6. Configure all the settings in the Pega service without errors.
  7. Apply the changes. Error displays on the screen.

Root Cause



A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment.


Resolution



Make the following change to the operating environment:

Install and configure the Pivotal application Service.
