Unable to login to CMD

Summary



User cannot login into Chordiant Marketing Director (CMD) and is getting an error message.


Error Messages



"No database connection found with this user Id"


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start Services.
  2. Click to open Marketing Director.


Root Cause



Remote Procedural Call (RPC) went down.

Resolution



Re-starting RPC solves the issue.

As per Vantage entry “VenvUseVantageAccount False”, means there is a separate database user “Admin” created for this account.

User is recommended to uncheck the remember password check box and set “VenvRemPassword” to False, so that, one can type the password each time while login to CMD.
