Summary
Unable to open the email attached in Pega cases in any browser other than IE.

Steps to Reproduce
1. Create a Pega case using any browser (other than IE).
2. Attach an email to the Pega case.
3. Click the link to view the email attachment.
ROOT CAUSE
The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. Word-based correspondence attachment cannot be opened without the Open Authoring OCX, so it does not work outside of Internet Explorer. However, conventional HTML based emails can be opened across all the browsers.
Resolution
This issue is resolved by HFix-23106.
