Unable to open a file downloaded from an application

KCP-173

Summary

The application is configured with a process for users to upload and download a Help file. User is unable to open a file after downloading it though the upload is successful.

 

Error Messages

We're sorry. We can't open HelpGuide because we found a problem with its contents.

 

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Upload a Help file
  2. Select an item on the Navigation menu to download the file
  3. Open the downloaded file

 

Root Cause

The navigation item is configured with an action to open Harness and invoke the Download activity.

 

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:
Modify the Navigation rule to use the Open URL in Window action instead of Harness.
