Unable to refresh a section while adding attachments using the advanced link in pyCaseAttachments.


Error Messages

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the pyAdvanced harness
  2. Add an attachment by clicking the advanced link
  3. Click the Attach button. The attachment is displayed in the list
  4. Click the Close button in the pyAdvanced harness. pyAdvancedAttachments does not refresh the pyCaseAttachments section


Root Cause



This is as per Pega Product design.


Resolution

Here's the explanation for the reported behavior:

On clicking the advanced link, the pyAdvancedAttachments harness is launched which is in a different harness than the pycaseattachments section. There is no option to refresh a section in a different harness from the current harness.
