Unable save name with more than 64 characters

SA-16533

Summary

When a developer saves a name from the NBA IntentCategory with more than 64 characters, the save fails with the below error.

Error Messages

Label:"label_name" is too long, maximum length allowed is 64.

Steps to Reproduce

Save a pyLabel property that is longer than 64 characters.

Root Cause

A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment .  The pyLabel property definition is too short (64 characters) for the name chosen.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:
  1. Save a version of the pyLabel property into the application.
  2. Change the Maximum Length to a longer value (128 is a good choice).
  3. Test a save again.  If still the error still appears, an administrator must change the length of the pyLabel column in the database to be the same size as the Maximum Length chosen in step 2. The administrator can do this through regular database tools and does not need to shut down Pega to do so.
