Unable to save report with property

SA-31991

Summary

A ruleform validation error is thrown when a property from a ruleset required by the application ruleset is added as a column source in a report definition.

This error only occurs for the one particular property and other properties in the same class save and validate successfully.

Error Messages

"Property Name - This is not a valid property, or this is a property that cannot be used here."

Steps to Reproduce

1) Refer to several properties in the same class in a report definition that are in a built-on ruleset.
2) Create another property in the same class as in step 1, but save it in a higher ruleset version than is specified as the "Required RuleSet and Version" in the application's RuleSet ruleform.
3) Attempt to add that property to the report definition

Root Cause

Only rules that are available to the specific ruleset version (equal to or less than) used as a required ruleset for an application are available to be used in the application.

Resolution

Correcting the ruleset version number on the required ruleset so that it includes the required property resolves this issue.
