Unable save rules using the Save As functionality



Unable save rules using the Save As functionality. This occurs on updating Operator ID’s and Dynamic System Setting (DSS) settings through the Designer Studio in Pega 7.3.

Error Messages

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Use Save As functionality with any rule.
  2. Click the down arrow button next to Save. The dropdown menu does not display.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.


Apply HFix-39168.

Alternatively, perform the following local-change:

Change the load behavior of the menu action from 'On screen load' to 'Refresh on display'.
