Unable to send an email to a recipient after scheduling a report.

Error Messages

There was a problem getting a list code: 0 SQLState: 57014 Message:
ERROR: canceling statement due to user request

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Schedule a report.
  2. Send an email to the recipient of that report.

Root Cause

The issue occurred because the query packaging was slow and crossed the threshold time and the SQL generated was different for different reports based on:
  • Columns to be retrieved
  • Format of output
  • Number of rows in the report.


Perform the following local-change:
  1. Adjust the threshold in each report definition rule in the 'Data Access' tab.
  2. Modify or Increase the value of the 'Maximum elapsed time in seconds for export' to increase the threshold limit to export the data.
