Unable to send emails on the DevOps Platform. The email items are in the queue with the 'Ready to process' status.

Steps to Reproduce



Send an email on the DevOps platform.


Root Cause



The Approval flow while assigning to a user worklist, checks if the 'Operator is available to receive to work' or not. This is based on the setting available in the Operator rule form. If the operator is not set to Available, then the Approval flow (while assigning to a user worklist) is selected based on the operator's work group and the email is sent to [email protected]
This occurs because the operator is saved as from [email protected] and the 'Operator is available to receive to work' is not selected by default.



Resolution



Perform the following local-change:

Enable the 'Operator is available to receive to work' option in the Operator record.
