Unable to start agents in production

Summary
User reported that they are unable to start agents in production and due to this they have huge business impact. They see below exception when they try to start agent.

Steps to Reproduce
1> Update any agent rule from periodic to recurring without opening and submitting advanced button.
2> Restart agent
Root Cause
The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. Validation is missing while saving agent rule data, wihtout pyType details PRPC allows us to save rule data.
Resolution
This issue is resolved through the following local change: Requested user to add recurrence details and submit changes using advanced button which will appear after changing periodic to reoccurence.
