Unable to update user stories

Summary
When updating a User Story using the Edit button, a Commit error displays on the Edit popup screen.
Error Messages
UI error: pyCommitError:A commit cannot be performed because a deferred delete of an instance of class Assign- failed: code: <none> SQLState: <none> Message: <none>
Tracer error, Activity: PMReassign, Error at Step:6 It is trying to open the instance using key: Unable to open an instance using the given inputs: ASSIGN-WORKBASKET PEGAPROJMGMT-WORK US-85!IDEA
Steps to Reproduce
- Open any existing User Story.
- Click the Edit button.
- Change any content in the User Story.
- Click the Submit button.
Root Cause
A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment.
Assignments were deleted from the pc_assign_worklist and pc_assign_workbasket tables in the user's environment which lead to the failure. The failure User Stories were last updated by the Pega-ProCom.ServiceLevelEvents agent. However, no SLA was defined for these User Stories.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:
Restore the deleted assignments in the pc_assign_worklist and pc_assign_workbasket tables.
