Unable to use Personal Edition after start up

Summary



After installing PRPC Personal Edition 7.1.2, skin and menu are visible but there is no content on the main page. Nothing seems to be clickable, not even the Log Out link or Help. During application startup you see the following error in the log:

ClassNotFoundException while loading the persistent sessions. Java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.pega.pegarules.session.internal.authorization.ContextMapDiagCallback

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install PRPC Personal Edition 7.1.2
  2. Attempt to login using IE 11

Root Cause



Browser incompatibility issue.

Resolution



There are some incompatibility issues with IE 11. Please utilize a different browser to circumvent this issue, for example Firefox or Chrome.
