Validation message is not displayed in UI



Validation message is not displayed in UI but it is displayed in tracer.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create Manual dispute
  2. Provide some wrong values to date fields/amount fields
  3. Validation should appear in UI but it is not happening,dispute is proceeding further

Root Cause

An issue in the custom application code or rules.User is calling the validation though the activity on click of "create" button and after this action "add new work" action is called.The add new work was clearing the page-set-messages because of which the error was not seen on UI.


Save as on validatenew activity into the application ruleset and called the custom activity containing the validate rule from the validatenew activity.Validate new activity will be called in "add new work" action.
