Validation messages not showing in screen



After upgrading from PRPC 5.5 to Pega 7.2, validation messages are not displayed on screen. They are not visible in the sections for required fields as well.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the application screen.
  2. Click Submit without filling mandatory elements.

Root Cause

Client-side Validation was not enabled for the custom Harness.


Select the Enable Client Side Validation check box on the HTML tab of the custom Harness form.
Set the field-level error value as As full error text.
