Summary

Currently the following Reason Code Advisor (RCA) question in the path for Visa RC 62-3 only has a ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ option: ‘Did the Merchant or Member fail to compare the first four digits of the embossed or printed Account Number to the four digits printed below the embossed or printed number and fail to record the printed digits on the Transaction Receipt?’.
1) The answer option of ‘Don’t Know’ should be added to this question 
2) When the user clicks on ‘Don’t Know’ for this question the following message should be displayed: ‘Based on the information provided a reason code may not be assigned. Select the Initiate a Retrieval Request flow action to request a copy of the Transaction Receipt for review to determine whether a different answer may apply to the last question.’

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.

1) The HTML property of the property <CompareFirst4Digits> has to be changed to <DTFilterQuestion> from <DTQuestionLocalize> to get the option ‘Don’t Know’.
2) The decision trees < PegaCard-Sd-Advisor-Visa-International-CardValidityTE>, <PegaCard-Sd-Advisor-Visa-International -CardValidityNotTE>, < PegaCard-Sd-Advisor-Visa-Europe-CardValidityTE> and < PegaCard-Sd-Advisor-Visa-Europe-CardValidityNotTE>should be updated with the ‘Don’t Know’ option and further message to be displayed upon selection of the new option.

HFix-21720 resolves this
