Wait shape is not waiting for the time-interval configured

SA-37981

Summary

User has a flow where there is a wait shape configured with wait type as Timer and the time interval as 5 days.

But the wait shape is not waiting for 5 days and immediately the deadline is passed and the flow advances.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

1. Configure a flow with Wait shape and wait type as Timer.
2. Configure the time interval to 2 minutes. This flow should be called from another flow as a spin-off flow.
3. Observe that Wait shape does not wait for 2 minutes and immediately the deadline is passed and advanced the flow.

Root Cause

User has overridden Assign-NewDefaults activity to call Assign-.DefineSLATimes which is overriding the SLA set by the wait shape. Due to this the flow was not waiting for the time specified on the wait shape.

Resolution

Remove call to DefineSLATimes from NewDefaults activity.
