Summary

When rule Test case creates input variable incorrectly using the comparison value if a single character is used without quotes. The issue does not occur when double quotes and text values with multiple characters are used.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a When rule to compare a single character value
  2. Create a Test case for the When rule. Input variable for the single value character is created by the notice system


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Resolution



Perform the following local-change:
Wrap the single character string with a pair of single or double quotes.
