Work object status is not updated from agents



The work object status is not modified even though the audit logs shows that status has changed.

The issue occurs on upgrading to Pega 7.2.2.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Update the work object status by calling the UpdateStatus activity through batch agent.
2. Although the audit logs shows that the status has changed, but the work object is not modified in fact.

Root Cause

Calling UpdateStatus in the background did add the history records, but did not actually update the status itself.
When UpdateStatus is called though the UI this will cause the case to be updated.

However, when called via a background activity, such as an agent, the work object itself will not be updated automatically.

It might need its own obj-save and commit.


Make a call to Obj-Save/commit in order to fully update the work object status to Resolve-complete.
