Tell us a bit about your Pega journey - What was your motivation to pursue CLSA certification?
I was a passionate Java developer up until a few years ago when I had the opportunity to learn the Pega platform at a previous position. It was the first technology that truly motivated me to continue my growth as a developer and I quickly attained multiple levels of Pega certification.

Since my first experiences with the platform, I have been most impressed by the way Pega handles operational excellence and customer engagement through a high-speed, no-code model. It’s a thrill for me as a developer to see how Pega always foresees global market needs and keeps the flag flying high.

What were the most significant obstacles that you faced on your path to become CLSA certified? How were you able to overcome those obstacles?
The most significant obstacle I faced during my CLSA preparation was time. I repeatedly went through the best practices and worked on retired questions. Another obstacle was that most of my job assignments were in the older versions of Pega. That’s why I religiously followed all the self-study courses in the Pega Academy.

What message or advice would you give to anyone who is considering a career as a Pega CLSA?
Go for it! It widens your understanding of building a better enterprise application. Most importantly, make sure to complete all of the self-study courses. It’s a must and will refresh your knowledge of the platform prior to taking the App Build.
