Let’s start off by learning a bit more about your life prior to Pega. Where are you from originally and what is your educational background?
As a child growing up in India, I was inquisitive about technology from an early age and continued that interest throughout my college career as a Computer Science major at SRM University. Later, I was selected by Tata Consultancy Services to join as a trainee.
What motivated you to learn how to use Pega?
I was introduced to Pega in late 2010 by TCS and I took up the challenge to learn the platform. During my training, I became very intrigued by the capabilities of Pega. Comparing Pega with other technologies, I felt confident that this was going to be the best path for my career. After getting certified in Pega, I was asked by a major bank to work on the platform and I haven’t looked back.
