  • Career Goals

To develop and maintain code for projects that satisfy the expectations of high-level customers around the world.

Let’s start off by learning a bit more about your life prior to Pega. Where are you from originally and what is your educational background?
I am originally from Meerut in the Uttar Pradesh region of India. During my university studies, Pega visited my college to provide training. Because of the low code approach to software development, I found it to be very appealing since you don’t have to be a coder or Java developer to convert your ideas into action. I enrolled in the Pega training at my university and received a degree in Electronics and Communication. I have since earned Pega’s CSA, CSSA and CPDC certificate through Pega Academy in Version 7.4.

How has Pega shaped or impacted your career?
I use Pega Customer Decision Hub for development and production work. The Next-Best-Action implementation in strategy design is consistently making correct, sophisticated automated decisions. This allows me to focus on more important things such as customer feedback.

"No software architect wants to waste their time writing code and building new functionalities from scratch. That’s why Pega’s approach is so valuable."

How has Pega shaped or impacted your career?
We were previously using so many platforms, tools, and different databases for storing software files, or other relevant data. We are now in the period of Industry 4.0 and our organization is focusing on Machine Learning, AI, and Robotics for producing relevant outcomes. No software architect wants to waste their time writing code and building new functionalities from scratch.  That’s why Pega’s approach is so valuable.

What message or advice would you give to anyone who is considering a career as a Pega Developer?
The message I would give to any Pega developer is to spend some time on the Pega Academy website so that you can see the wide array of certification options available. There is truly something that everyone can excel in, from decisioning to robotics.
