Tell us a bit about your Pega journey - What was your motivation to pursue CLSA certification?
I started my Pega journey in 2006 at Cognizant Kolkata where I was lucky enough to be trained in a mature Pega practice under great leadership. I moved to the USA in early 2011 and soon became part of BPM Specialists in Alpharetta GA. My management provided me with great opportunities to work in challenging banking projects and strongly encouraged me to take CLSA certification based on my contributions to the team. I took the CLSA practice build very seriously and leveraged that experience to learn and understand all the materials that were necessary to pass the CLSA exam. I have no doubt in saying that Pega CLSA certification has been a key differentiator in my Pega journey and has opened the door to some great career opportunities.

What were the most significant obstacles that you faced on your path to become CLSA certified? How were you able to overcome those obstacles?
Although I had a few years of strong development experience before I took my CLSA exam, I was still worried that my knowledge of the platform wasn’t comprehensive enough to successfully complete the App Build. The CLSA prep courses and practice App Builds available on Pega Academy helped me eliminate these doubts.

What message or advice would you give to anyone who is considering a career as a Pega CLSA?
Having a Pega CLSA is the greatest opportunity for developers to demonstrate their enterprise-level design and architectural skills. I would strongly recommend any interested Pega developer to take the CLSA course and complete the certification so that they can maximize their growth opportunities in the Pega ecosystem.
