Documenting your application


Learn how to generate an application profile document in Pega® Express so that you can share information about your project with stakeholders.

An application profile is an autogenerated document that contains business-related information that is associated with the implementation of a project, such as sizing estimates.

This task takes approximately 2 minutes to complete.


  1. In the navigation panel, click Settings, and then click Tools.
  2. In the Application documents section, click Generate document. A progress bar is displayed so that you can view the progress.

    If you previously generated an application profile document, the Regenerate document option is available. If you made changes to your application, click this option to regenerate the application profile document.

  3. Download the generated Microsoft Word file by clicking Download document.
