Adding a new automation in the New Project Wizard

Updated on July 31, 2020

You can add an automation to your project in the New Project Wizard, using an existing project for a template, if desired.

Adding an automation
  1. In the Add Project Items page, in the Automation row, click the Add button.
  2. In the folder list on the left side, select the parent folder for this automation.
  3. In the Automation name field, enter a unique and descriptive name for your automation.
  4. In the Available Templates drop-down list, select a template to use for this automation. Or, to create an empty automation, leave Available Templates set to default.

Templates are created from existing automations, and stored in the Templates folder at %appdata%\Pegasystems. For more information, see Using the New Project Wizard
