Improved performance for sending queued messages
Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.7
LogToSpecifiedAppender was experiencing poor performance in some situations caused by duplicating locking attempts while processing an appender to send queued messages. To improve this, code changes have been made to smooth locking and avoid searching appenders when dynamic appenders are configured.

Corrected Rule cleanup utility
Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.7
The Rule Cleanup utility deletes instances from pr4_rule_ruleset that contain old ruleset versions. Some Rule-RuleSet-Name instances have rulesets and were deleted incorrectly. To correct this, the utility has been modified with an additional 'where' clause to restrict deleting Rule-RuleSet-Name instances.

Handling enhanced for custom system names
Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.7
If the system.name property in setupDatabase.properties was updated to reflect a custom System Name during ruleset migration, the value was not being used by the software update process and the resulting error caused a batch failure. There was a workaround of explicitly setting the system name in the field env name="Identification/SystemName" value=, but this has been updated to fetch the name from the db. In addition, the query that fetches the system name has been modified with a check to make sure that there is at least one requestor for the name it fetches.

Change Password redirect loop fixed
Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.7
When URLEncryption is enabled along with Security Policies, redirection to the Change Password screen caused the browser to loop into an endless redirect (HTTP 302 loop). This was caused by Incorrect (un-obfuscated) data being used internally when obfuscation was enabled, and has been fixed.

Added check for naming conflicts when upgrading Oracle
Resolved in Pega Version 7.2
When attempting to upgrade a single schema on Oracle database, running the generateddl script failed with a NullPointerException. This was caused by database tables which had a column name called 'SYS_ID' as part of the primary key. Since Oracle uses system-generated names beginning with "SYS_" for implicitly generated schema objects and subobjects, Oracle discourages the use of this prefix in the names explicitly provided to the schema objects and subobjects in order to avoid possible conflicts in name resolution. To resolve this, a tester has been added to the system to check for this naming use and issue a warning.

Added path checking to FirstLogCreationTime.log
Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.9
FirstLogCreationTime.log was being written to a temp folder using hard-coded logic to use a relative path within the install directory. This caused errors if the installer was trying to write the logs in an absolute path. FirstLogCreationTime.log should be written to the same directory as the rest of the logs, and this issue has been fixed by adding a condition in LogDeleteUtil.getLogCreationTimeFile() method to check for absolute paths.

Corrected hashtag handling for Oracle SQL generation
Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.9
Given a column name with a hashtag in an Oracle environment, the system was compiling SQL statements which caused ORA-00904 errors due to replacing the # in one variable name with an _ but leaving it as a # in another. This has been corrected.

Requestor token creation added for PRExternal authentication
Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.9
When using a PRExternal authentication scheme, the csrfsession requestor token was not created. This caused a heavy volume of INFO logging messages in production due to the null token. This authentication path has now been added and the token will be correctly created for use.

Improved performance for incorrect password handling
Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.9
When the operator entered the wrong password in the login screen, numerous "Stream Overwritten" alerts appeared the Alert log. There was no workflow problem involved, but the logging indicated that there was an additional unnecessary call being made to Stream Web-Login, and that unneeded call has been removed to improve system performance and remove the error being logged.

System updated to better handle multi-node rule resolution
Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.9
In an upgraded multi-node environment, the error 'com.pega.pegarules.pub.database.MultipleRuleVersionException: Rule resolution identified 2 versions of the rule' was sporadically appearing. Once the issue occurred, it would persist and the only way to resolve it was to bounce the server. This was an issue with an instance of one rule being found in one node and not found in other node, and was related to the trigger logic. This should not occur with the current Pega7 version, as trigger logic has been moved into the engine and there is no longer a database trigger to fix. In order to ensure continued smooth trigger resolution, tests have been added that will check for this condition in the updates cache table to ensure that this scenario does not occur again
