Handling added to resolve Fusion chart tooltips issue in Google Chrome

Resolved in Pega Version 8.3

Tooltips for charts were not showing, and placing the mouse over the white area for the genaral tooltip in the charts made the white background blink. The error " Uncaught ReferenceError: FusionCharts is not defined at pyfusioncharts.theme.default_12208971721.js!!.js:1" was found in the Google Chrome console. Investigation showed that there was a recognition issue with Fusion charts when tooltips were enabled; this has been resolved by adding handling to check for an undefined value of the FusionCharts object within the declaration of the theme.

Padding added to keep sort icon always visible in Google Chrome

Resolved in Pega Version 8.4

When sorting a grid column on Google Chrome, the sort icon was missing if the header label was large. This was traced to the Sort icon being handled as a background image of 12px in width inside 'display:table-cell' which was forced to shrink by the resize. To resolve this, 'padding: 0 6px;' has been added to each side to keep the space intact for the sort icon to always be visible.

Repaired use of custom case ID search

Resolved in Pega Version 7.3.1

After upgrade, custom search criteria for case IDs generated an error when pulling data from the database. This was traced to a change that removed CommonTLP as a fallback, and that default has been restored.

Changed edit control to prevent Google Chrome adding zeroes when localizing

Resolved in Pega Version 7.2.1

When using Google Chrome in some locales, zeros were being added to values in the skin and corrupting entered values. This was due to Google Chrome defaulting to localizing input type numbers, which caused dual localization after the control had already localized the value after reload. When input type is text, only the control localization will happen, so a workaround for Google Chrome has been added where the type of control has bene changed to text in the editable mode for the pyItemAlignment section.

SameSite cookie setting added for Mashup support in Google Chrome v80+

Resolved in Pega Version 8.1.8

The Google Chrome browser version 80 and above now treats SameSite with a blank value as "Lax" by default, causing mashup scenarios to break. In order to compensate for this change, support has been added for setting SameSite=None in Cookie Settings; this value automatically includes the “secure” cookie flag, which enforces HTTPS for the Pega server and mashup. For mashups to work, SameSite should be set as None. Create a Dynamic system setting in the Pega-Engine RuleSet with the name “security/csrf/samesitecookieattributevalue” and the value "None" and restart the server. (The SameSite value "None" works only in secure HTTPS connections.) Note: The SameSite cookie may be set to None/Lax/Strict, based on the requirement. For cookie requirements other than mashup, it should be set as either Strict or Lax, depending upon your application.
