MultiSelect control corrected for Google Chrome on Tablets

Resolved in Pega Version 8.4.5

It was not possible to expand the multiSelect control dropdown in Google Chrome on tablets. The search worked if text was typed into it. This was due to the method isMobilePhone returning true for both mobile and tablet, causing the system thought it was mobile and stopped the normal behavior. This has been resolved by adding a regular expression check in the pzpega_control_multiselect isMobilehone() method to check if it a tablet. The isMobilePhone() method will return false if the device is tablet so the dropdown appears as expected.

Sorting icon visible for table in Cosmos on Google Chrome

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.2

Tables were not showing any sort icon / indicator in the column header when using the Cosmos Theme in Google Chrome. This was only occurring in apps created with the Cosmos theme, and was caused by the sort icon for a non-optimized table using display flex, resulting in the position of the icon being displaced. This was a missed use case of having a non-optimized table in Cosmos, and has been resolved by removing the non-optimized-related CSS code.

Tree grid alignment resolved for Google Chrome and Firefox

Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.8

When using the Google Chrome and Firefox browsers, tree grid rows were not properly aligned. This was due to legacy code in GenerateGridHTML which was running in quirks and used a different document model in different browsers. The model was no longer necessary due to a change in the generation method, and has been removed.

Resolved ruleset save issue for Google Chrome/IE

Resolved in Pega Version 8.2.6

When using particular versions of Google Chrome or IE, the intermittent error "pyComponentInterfaceClass: does not exist or is not a valid entry for this ruleset and its prerequisites" appeared when attempting to validate an application, and the ruleset could not be saved. This was traced to changes made in the browser around password handling, and has been resolved by explicitly clearing out the pyComponentInterfaceClass if that value is not in use.

Fixed Google Chrome progressive pagination grid layout

Resolved in Pega Version 7.4

Column headings were becoming misaligned in Google Chrome with data in a progressive grid that used pagination. This has been fixed by adding the method updateHeaderCellWidth to update the widths of the column elements on resize of the window.
