Viewing associations that are available for reporting

Only available versions of this content are shown in the dropdown

Understand the fields that you can use for reports by viewing the associations in your application. Use the Visual Data Model to view how simple associations defined in your application relate to the different classes of your application.

When you are using Pega BI reporting mode, broken relationships, that is, relationships that do not have an association, are displayed using red lines. Ensure that your application has a complete data model by creating associations for the broken relationships.

  1. In App Studio, click Data Data model .

  2. Click Actions Reporting schema mode .

  • Associations

Use an association to define a relationship between two classes based on matching values in pairs of properties. Associations are typically used to enable your application to automatically add a join to a report that displays properties from both classes referenced in the association.
