Make Pega Express™ education your New Year’s resolution

Bandita Joarder, 5 minute read

Hello! My name is Bandita Joarder, and I am part of the Pega Express™ team. Our goal is to make the experience of delivering with Pega as smart, simple, and fast as the applications you will create.

We have taken what Pega software can do to crush business complexity, incorporated the best practices in the market and industries, and drawn upon our collective years of experience to determine what works best… and we are incredibly excited to share it all with you.

In my 25+ years of services and consulting experience, I’ve lived through the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to delivery. From building a new real estate business across multiple channels in 16 weeks, to experiencing the challenges of a project that ran over a year past its original go-live date, each and every project provided something to learn – what to keep, what to change, and what (you hope) to never experience again. All these cases have allowed me to contribute to what makes a great delivery experience. Now, as we define and continue to refine Pega Express, we incorporate what we understand from every person who gives us input and from every implementation project that we run. This is why our approach is real, not crafted in an ivory tower, and why it continues to evolve with us.

Pega Express Month kicks off 2022 with a series of events to further inspire you and embed our framework of success into everything that you deliver. Our hope is for everyone to innovate with our product line, unite business and IT stakeholders around a common vision, prioritize the users end to end, and ensure quality in the business outcome that is brought to life. In our increasingly virtual world, we wish to engage you in multiple ways, so you can listen, understand, ask questions, and challenge assumptions. We want you to mark your calendars and come away excited to try new things!

Here are some highlighted topics:

  • You have a vision to turn into reality, but how do we translate that into a Minimum Lovable Product?
  • We wish to directly capture objectives, which fosters collaboration and saves time, but where do we start and how do we know if we’re doing it right?
  • How do we realistically deliver value to users in 90 days or less?
  • What is the low code lifestyle? How do we shift our behaviors to embrace it, instead of trying to apply a traditional code mindset?

I encourage you to set aside time each day for the month of January to embark on a learning journey and an experience that will take your Pega software delivery game to the next level. Along the way, we hope you’ll connect with others who also share your Pega values, skills, and experience in addition to partnering with us, who are delighted to spend this time with you.

Continue to look in this space for a series of blogs and, more importantly, provide us with your comments. Participate in our Tech Talks and webinars, ask questions either during the meetings or afterwards. Join our Collaboration Board, where we will post a Daily Phrase about Pega Express and let us know your thoughts on the concept and on how you believe Pega Express helps.

By making Pega Express your New Year’s resolution, you can start 2022 excited to do more for your clients, their customers, your organizations, and yourself. I look forward to ‘seeing’ you online!
