Adding Link like a message to the Property
Hi all,
I want to display a link as plain text—like a message, helper text, or below it—without any label wherever possible. I have tried the following approaches:
Displaying as Case Reference: The issue is that it doesn’t open automatically in a new tab. It asks for “Preview” or “New Tab,” which requires manual interaction.
Field Type as URL: This is being shown as read-only text, not as a clickable link.
Using the second option, we created a partial view, which works properly, but we’re unable to remove the property label space and label.
Please note that we are not using any components.
Can you suggest any other way to achieve this, ideally without using components?

@RAJUT173 , Hi Raju. I also have a similar requirement: I need to display the case ID as a link to open the case. However, in Constellation, we can only display a column as a hyperlink when the list view is configured with a data page as the source.
Ideally, we don't have an option to add clickable hyperlinks to individual properties in the view without using components. If anyone has any ideas on how to tackle this requirement without components, please share your thoughts.

Within the Constellation Design System
- a Case Reference or Data Reference is the prescribed way to deal with referencing other objects. This includes the interaction pattern to Preview or Open in New Tab.
- I know lots of projects that try to disable or change this pattern but we should remember this is quite powerful, it gives users the choice on what to do with that reference. Preview works well to see some data, whilst not changing context. Open in New tab, when i need to explore the full page view.
- labels and headings are part of the accessibility features of Constellation.
Borrowing @MACIEJ Dybal 's image from similar testing recently. Like you, exploring what is possible OOTB. If you want to build your own interaction patterns and view displays, then a DX component is the only way I know of achieving what you are after.

Constellation is constantly evolving
That said new design patterns are being introduced all the time. In '25, they introduced the ability to click and open details, without a "preview/open in new tab" user interaction.

@MarcCheong In UI Kit, we can use the paragraph rules to achieve the below outcome i.e. have text and some hyperlinks in a form. How can we do the same in constellation?

@LakshayD17563872@MarcCheong To elaborate, I am looking to reference the URL dynamically. I could refer URL via data page in UIkit, but can't do that in constellation.

@LakshayD17563872 yes, its a common pain point coming from UI Kit approach where you could just dump paragraph rules where you liked (for both good and bad). I am very familar with doing this in UI Kit - the outcome, which is the focus on Constellation, working software outcomes quickly, is achieved differently from the "build from blank slate" approach of UI kit.
The Constellation Design System equivalent is the Dynamic Text Rule. However, remembering Constellation is about speed to market and configuration over customization, there are prescribed differences. You can obviously extend your Constellation UI if you want to achieve certain, specific UI requirements. I have not seen anyone achieve the UI requirement you want without going the DX Component route.
For this business outcome, showing a URL/LInk the outcome has been achieved. It is just different to how it would appear in UI Kit.

@MarcCheong Thanks for your response. We explored dynamic text rule but ran into similar issue there - not being able to pass URL dynamically. It'd be great if this feature can be enhanced to support this in the later releases. Thank you

@LakshayD17563872 dynamic text rules can be dynamic both in the when rules and/or sourcing from a property (which could be sourced from a datapage). I think this allows you to do this the dynamic bit, just not things like hiding labels and headers in the Constellation Design System.
