Long gone are the days of software deliveries being implemented by one big bang of a project. The world has lost its appetite for such levels of risk and cost so even medium sized companies will have some form of a multi-phase portfolio of work.

That portfolio will have several pressures driving its direction and they fit into 3 main categories:

  • Political - driven by things like funding, environmental and contractual issues
  • Technical - driven from the IT space dealing with all issues of deploying IT solutions around hardware and software
  • Business- driven by things like profit sales and customer satisfaction

This session will handle some of the primary things a business architect can do to help drive the business focus above into the individual project deliveries and ensure the Pega application is utilized to its fullest in things like the Pega Layer Cake, Business Reuse and user satisfaction

Brad Tanner Consulting Manager, Banking & Capital Markets - EMEA Consulting Pegasystems
