End-of-Life Announcement for docs-previous.pega.com

Frequently Asked Questions

As more Infinity release cycle documentation is added and published to our new docs.pega.com site, docs-previous.pega.com will be phased out to provide users with one centralized location to access all Pega’s documentation offerings.

docs-previous.pega.com will be turned off at the end of the 2024 calendar year.

A redirect strategy will be in place when docs-previous.pega.com site goes offline, however, it cannot be guaranteed that you will be driven to a particular article’s exact equivalent on docs.pega.com and you may instead be driven to a general product area or archive section.

Links for versions 8.4 - 8.7 articles will redirect to the documentation archive where PDFs are hosted.

Visit the new archive on docs.pega.com.

It’s recommended that if you rely on documentation for versions 7.1.7 – 8.3, that you download any materials locally to ensure uninterrupted access.  Versions 8.4 – current are available on docs.pega.com.

In-application links will no longer be supported for release versions older than 8.8. This includes context-sensitive help for Platform and Customer Decision Hub and help gadget links for Platform and Customer Service.

To request documentation that isn’t available in the documentation archive, send a request to [email protected].  Be sure to include the specific documentation type and version you are requesting. For example, Pega Platform, Case management, release 8.4 or Pega Platform Install Guide, release 8.2, for WebLogic AppServer and Oracle Database (include the application server and database type for Install or Update Guides).

To prepare for docs-previous.pega.com site removal, and to ensure uninterrupted access to any legacy documentation prior to version 8.3, its recommended that you visit any books or articles that are essential to your role or organization and use the ‘Download PDF’ option to download entire books or individual articles locally as PDF files.

If you have additional questions or need support, contact [email protected].
