Overview
The ArchiMate extractor component for Pega allows you to extract an “ArchiMate Open Exchange File” based on the configuration of your Pega application.
You can upload the component to your application using the component management feature inside of the your Application rule or by uploading the zip file like any other import and adding it to the built on component list.

The extrator will go through the application and its configuration and extract the following information and create views:
- Case types
- Stages
- Processes
- Roles
- Data Objects
- Data Objects
- Relations
- Channels
- Application stack
Additional relations available in the Archimate model are not immediately visible in the standard Pega views. You can view the XML file in Archi or any ArchiMate based tool by simply importing it.
