Overview
The KYC client outreach process is an important process within financial institutions (FIs), and it poses certain challenges for both KYC analysts and corporate customers, such as:
1. FIs having to repeatedly reach out to a multi-entity corporation for KYC information on each entity
2. Multi-entity corporations having to provide KYC information for each entity multiple times a year
3. Inefficient KYC processes due to ever changing rules and regulations
These challenges exist irrespective of the technology the business uses. As business leaders these days expect more digitalisation and operational efficiency, it is a must to address these challenges and bottlenecks. HCLTech and CoorpID jointly carried out a proof of concept in Pega, integrating CoorpID’s solution with Pega to seamlessly view and update KYC documents. Using the APIs that were developed for this purpose, HCLTech tested the authentication process, onboarding a new entity in Pega, collecting data and viewing the documents.
