Overview

Pega RPA Accelerator integrates into Pega Robot Manager to simplify the integration with Pega Case Management without the need to build case types to orchestrate the execution of your robots. Generic case type Feeder, Orchestrator and Worker use metadata configured using the Robot Manager portal to allow you to break down complex Robotics Automations and stich them together via the configuration of an Automation Task. This approach allows give you the ability to scale your robots while being more efficient allowing you to achieve ROI faster.
The design is based on a common Producer and Consumer model. A Feeder Automation retrieves the work from an external system (email, application, or file), breaking it down into small autonomous work. The Feeder Automation invokes the Orchestrator case type which executes Work Automations based on the order of each Work Automation within the Task. Work automation can also be configured to run in Parallel execution if each Worker Automation can run independently of each other.
