How to get timestamp value in EST

SA-8313

Summary

A DateTime property in an activity is set using the following code:
@FormatDateTime(@getCurrentTimeStamp(), "", "America/New_York", "")
This returns the GMT value, but the EST value is required. pxRequestor.pyDisableTimezoneConversion property is set to true, and this property has impacts on other parts of the application. How to include a change only in the activity, where @FormatDateTime function is used, and get the timestamp value in EST?

Resolution

Provide a timezone code. In this circumstance, @FormatDateTime(@getCurrentTimeStamp(), "", "EST", "").
To handle this with daylight savings, use an appropriate TZDB Timezone ID, such as  @FormatDateTime(@getCurrentTimeStamp(), "", "America/NewYork", "")
