SnapStart functionality does not work correctly

Summary
The portal is opened to display the case using the pxOpenAssignments correspondance fragment and the pyShowFullPortal value is customized to true. After launching the portal, when opening any link, the link opens in a new window instead of the same window.
For example, the left navigation panel links open in a new window.

Steps to Reproduce
- Configure an email with a link similar to the below:
<your_server>/prweb/sso?pyActivity=Data-Portal.ShowDesktop&isSnapStart=true&pyShowFullPortal=true&applicationName=<your_application_name>&Action=openWorkByHandle&InsHandle=<your_work_object>
- Ensure that the link opens in the Case Manager portal.
- Close the work object.
- Click any link in the portal.
Root Cause
This issue was determined to be a product enhancement request.
SnapStart and showFullPortal support only a Single Document portal (Case worker) and not the Case Manager portal.
Resolution
An enhancement request, FDBK-18465, is created for consideration by Pega Product Management.
