Summary

User has created a Business Intelligence Exchange (BIX) Extraction rule to extract data from two page lists. If the output of the extract rule is a database table or file, then mapping the same database table or file name to these page lists causes validation errors that did not occur in PRPC 6.x.

Error Messages

pyOutputName: ** Added same to table Name for two or more fields **.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a BIX extract rule to extract data from two or more page lists.
2. Map the same table name or file name to the different page lists that are being extracted.
3. Try to save the rule.
   

Root Cause

The validation was added to avoid the data loss due to accidental overwriting of the files or data in the database tables. For example, if you have configured the same file name to extract parent and child page list records, then there are chances that one gets overwritten or appended with the contents of the other.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:
Configure unique ‘To Table’ names for each page list. The page list records will be extracted to unique tables.
