Negative values in a grid filter display incorrectly

Summary



In a personalized grid, the negative values (for both Decimal and Currency properties) display incorrectly in Optimized tables (Allow Personalization enabled) filters.

For example,

Value displays with HTML tags in the filter:


<span id="pyNegativeFormatValue" class=NegativeNumber>-$100.00</span>

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Configure an Optimized table in a section.
  2. Add a column with a property that can store negative values (Decimal, Double, or Currency).
  3. Click the Filter icon. Negative value displays as below,

    <span id="pyNegativeFormatValue" class=NegativeNumber>-$100.00</span>


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.


Resolution



This feature is implemented in the following:
  • Pega Platform 8.1.9
  • Pega Platform 8.2.7
  • Pega Platform 8.3.3
  • Pega Platform 8.4
