Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
The Obj-Browse step in the PegaCRM-Entity-Contact.crmValidateReportsTo activity failed because it attempted to check if the pyID was equal to Primary.ReportsTo. The ReportsTo value was a pzInsKey and would be too long for the pyID column. The pyID field is not required in the Obj-Browse step in the crmValidateReportsTo activity.
Resolution
Apply HFix-65768.
