SSL peer not authenticated error

Summary
Developer reports that post moving an application Rule-Admin-Product (RAP), that the REST connectivity to the external system has started failing with an error.
Error Messages
Caused by: net.ssl.SSLPeerUnverifiedException: peer not authenticated
Steps to Reproduce
Try test connectivity of any of the existing REST connector.
Root Cause
DSS "https/allowAllHostnames" was enabled in production environment and its causing the issue.
Resolution
Disabling the DSS resolves the issue.
