Post upgrade, sections/harness/portals do not render, show blank

Summary
After upgrading from Pega 7.1.9 to Pega 7.2.2, all sections, harnesses are not rendering in designer studio.
Even Out-of-the-box (OOTB) Portals when launched will not load too, system is just returning a blank page.
User is facing the issue in only one of the applications. It looks to be a skin issue, if they use the OOTB skin, it works fine.
Ideally, the application skin should still work post upgrade, similar to the other application that is working fine post upgrade.

Steps to Reproduce
1) Upgrade application from Pega 7.1.9 to 7.2.2.
2) Open sections, harness, data portal.
Root Cause
An issue in the custom application code or rules.
Removing the custom css style in the skin solves the issue.
