The header of a rule form identifies its availability, circumstances, whether it can be updated, and the validation results of the a Save or Save As operation. See How to change rule availability and How to complete rule form and data form fields.

Rules and data appear in the Application Explorer grouped into categories. These symbols identify the categories. See About the Application Explorer. The
icon identifies a rule that doesn't belong to any of these categories.
