The tables below present icons, controls and shapes that may appear as you use the Designer Studio or Business Analyst portal.
Click an image to access a topic that explains the icon or mark. Some have multiple meanings depending on context.

These icons may appear on the Designer toolbar. See Designer Studio — Using the toolbar.
The header of a rule form identifies its availability, circumstances, whether it can be updated, and the validation results of the a Save or Save As operation. See How to change rule availability and How to complete rule form and data form fields.
Rules and data appear in the Application Explorer grouped into categories. These symbols identify the categories. See About the Application Explorer. The icon identifies a rule that doesn't belong to any of these categories.
These icons and shapes are used when editing a flow with Process Modeler. See Flows — Process Modeler basics.
These icons and flow shapes are used when editing a flow using the standard Visio template. See Flows — Visio basics.
